Ever heard of site specific theater? If not, take heart because it is a genre not so complicated but interesting to explore. Recently i got to learn about site specific theater courtesy of Professor Martha Vestin from Sweden. She explained that drama and other theatrical performances should not be dictated by space but by the wish of actors having something to show in any way they can. A group of Ugandan actors and actresses congregated at the National theater for 10 days and had their final production on Sunday 30th March in front of a relatively big audience. Thanks to Professor Martha and Marriane Calberg the costume designer who tirelessly ensured that the show is a success.
